Supporting the urban forest

GreenHere is a registered charity dedicated to working with neighbours to care for and plant trees in Toronto’s urban spaces. Trees can combat the effects of global warming, improve urban air quality, restore the natural water cycles, reducing chances of flood/drought, and improve water quality by filtering stormwater before it reaches our lakes and streams. Trees can also increase property values, enhance privacy, absorb noise, reduce heating and cooling costs for buildings/homes and provide cool shaded areas to work, rest and play. With Toronto’s urban forest in decline, communities are called upon to ensure that existing trees survive and more trees are planted to ensure the long-term health of all residents.


Please support Toronto’s urban forest and GreenHere's efforts to make our city a great place to live for all residents. All donations go directly towards programming and project costs, not wages or administration.
